The ancient Romans used to call their city “caput mundi,” which means “the Capital of the World”, since the Roman Empire was as wide as the lands known at the time. Today, Rome is a perfect mixture of art, history, religion and culture, like few other cities in the world – in fact, it would take more than a week to see it all. Gaeta Taxi Service suggests the Rome city tour “Er mejo de Roma – The best of Rome,” which includes the most significant sights. But, you can also see Rome from many different points of view by choosing a theme-based excursion or, alternatively, you can plan your own itinerary and we will help you make it a reality.

The tour starts from Venezia Square for a nice walk through the Imperial Fora towards the Colosseum, the worldwide symbol of the Roman Empire. The driver will wait for you by the Arch of Constantine to take you to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain.
The tour will start after lunchtime with the visit to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, a few steps away. After that, our driver will take you to the Vatican City for a free walk in St. Peter’s Square and a visit to the majestic Basilica.

Our “drive through” tour is the perfect way to get to know the city if you have to wait a few hours before the hotel check-in.
