“Coast to coast” overview
Complete itinerary that will take you from Sorrento to Ravello, via the world’s most famous coastal road full of breathtaking views and where the journey itself becomes a pleasant adventure.
Duration: 8 hours + travel to/from starting point
Morning
Sorrento Peninsula with passing through characteristic towns such as Vico Equense and Meta, until we reach Sorrento. Free walk around the town, and for lunch you can choose to have a quick snack in the characteristic rotisseries or enjoy local delicacies in one of the typical coastal restaurants.
Afternoon
Inland crossing of the peninsula with a chance to admire the citrus and orange groves typical of the area. Arrive in colorful Positano and after a panoramic tour from above for the inevitable photos you will descend into the heart of the village for a leisurely stroll through the quaint little alleys.
The drive continues admiring the landscape between sea and mountains typical of the coastline with a short panoramic stop at the Fiordo di Furore. It then continues to Amalfi, where it will be possible to visit the town while tasting a typical ice cream.
The last stop on the tour is Ravello, which has been dubbed “the most beautiful terrace in the world” because of its panoramic position overlooking the coast. Always loved by actors, Ravello has also been an inspiration to famous artists, from composer Wagner to English painter Turner.
* Upon request, it is possible to visit a local farm where limoncello, jams and desserts made from lemons are produced. It will be possible to follow the entire production process and walk among the citrus groves breathing in the heady scent of lemons typical of this area
