“Coast to coast” overview
Complete itinerary that will take you from Sorrento to Ravello, via the world’s most famous coastal road full of breathtaking views and where the journey itself becomes a pleasant adventure.
Duration: 8 hours + travel to/from starting point
Morning
Sorrento Peninsula with passing through characteristic towns such as Vico Equense and Meta, until we reach Sorrento. Free walk around the town, and for lunch you can choose to have a quick snack in the characteristic rotisseries or enjoy local delicacies in one of the typical coastal restaurants.
Afternoon
Inland crossing of the peninsula with a chance to admire the citrus and orange groves typical of the area. Arrival in the colorful Positano and after a panoramic visit from above for the must-have photos, we will descend into the heart of the village for a pleasant walk through the characteristic narrow streets.
The car journey continues admiring the typical sea and mountain landscape of the coast with a brief panoramic stop at the Fiordo di Furore. We then continue to Amalfi, where it will be possible to visit the city while enjoying a typical gelato.
The last stop of the tour is Ravello, which for its dominant panoramic position over the coast has been nicknamed “the most beautiful terrace in the world”. Always loved by actors, Ravello has also been an inspiration to famous artists, from composer Wagner to English painter Turner.
* Upon request, it is possible to visit a local farm where limoncello, jams and desserts made from lemons are produced. It will be possible to follow the entire production process and walk among the citrus groves breathing in the heady scent of lemons typical of this area
